rally and restoration panels,any good?

Hi All. Long time lurker,first time poster,looking for some opinions.

I have ordered some panels for my mk1 escort yb turbo from rally and restoration panels,rochdale.

It's been 27 days and the panels have not yet arrived. The money has been taken from my account.

I have emailed numerous times- 3 times in last 2 days- and rung twice but no reply, goes to answerphone.

I had confirmation of order,and another msg saying if panels not here by 19 june then let them know. I have been trying all day but with no reply.

 

Has anyone had dealings with them and how did the transaction go?

Sorry, I've never heard of them but looking at the forum on their website, in particular the message below from May 29th, you're not the first to have problems

 

 

Maybe you guys could concentrate on answering e-mails or phone calls to let me know if my panels will ever arrive before you venture into the world of live "live chat support"

Yes i did read the msg dated 29 may,but not untill today lol! A little bit too late to be of any benefit.

Panels ordered were an A pillar repair section and two door bottom panels.

Apparently my delivery has been dispatched,so hopefully am being prematurely paranoid!!

 

Will keep you posted.

Just had the same problem mate. Their customer service is non existent. Mine have apparently been dispatched, but I aren't holding my breath. Won't be using them again!!!!

Sorry m8 have only ever dealt with mk1+mk2 escort stuff but there is a member on here called distaffy i no he had a lot of cortina stuff unless he's sold it all.maybe worth sending him a pm.also a firm thats in the classic ford mag d+d developments i no he had some cortina stuff.[Dave].
