Been doing my escort now for a couple of years and flicking back through my pictures there are some things i'm proud of and others i'm really not so proud of, what are yours?

Right at the very beginning i thought it would be a good idea to chop out a rotten inner wing and replace it

(it looked far better in my head than it ended up looking in reality)

Luckily i saw the light and realised what a complete cock up i had made, and ended up buying a pair of inner wings to do it properly

I reckon one of the things i was most proud of was re-covering my dash and re-conditioning my clocks

Back in the old days I've been guilty of the usual patch up jobs which look shit but get the job done. I'm not really ashamed of them as such because there was a reasoning behind it, but some of them were quite hideous! I suppose I'm most proud of the bit's I've done on Members cars, most particularly Posse's, Willsy's, Greaser's and most recently KJ's where I'm most pleased with myself with the interior panels and bit's of fabrication.

Dash looks good BTW ;)

Lol @ bigfish thanks for your sympathy!!!!

That was 2001 as well not that long before everything rocketed in value, it was already pinto'd and had a 5 speed but could have easily put a crossflow back in it, oh well lol

Everything seems to be fetching ridiculous money these days, it was a bit of a shed tbh but it was the 1st escort I done, would of done a proper job if I had it now mind you, oh well lol

One thing I am proud of is running the Surrey Capri Club. As anybody who runs local clubs or organises meets & events, it takes a lot of planning, dedication & organisation. Ok, so I have a co-chairman to help me, but for a lot of the admin required I do it, & coupled with the fact that since we took over in 2011 I've had many close family issues to deal with which frankly added to me losing my job & bringing me almost to breaking point, i knew I had a purpose to run the club & keep myself together, and the club has grown a new member database whilst keeping most of the original members.

Things I'm not so proud of: crashing cars. Had a few crashes in my time years back, worst ones being my Fiesta RS Turbo, and then my orange P100 (formerly Rob Griggs of Ooh Ooh). Get it featured in Fast Ford, crash it one day after the magazine gets released. Write off. Is still sitting in my drive with a different chassis cab waiting for all the usuable parts to go back on & the chassis to be cleaned up. 7 years. Unfortunately, money, the running of the club, and family issues have just halted everything. The dedication to complete it is still there though.
