Howdy Steve, the escort is Dalmarshall's old car with the 2.2 lotus lump in it, having a bit of trouble with it at the moment but will get it all sorted hopefuly. The engine is leaking a little oil into the coolant following an engine rebuild and at the moment I'm trying to get it through the MOT, the rear caliper was seized so I fitted a new one but having problems bleeding the bias box... It's a nice thing though and it goes well, nearly had a moment on the way to the MOT station, 3rd gear dry straight road, gave it some beans and the arse end let go big time and threw me onto the opposite side of the road lol, was a little unexpected, I thought the back end would be more controlable with an LSD fitted but when the back end steps out it tends to throw the whole car into the oncoming traffic? Not just slide the arse out? It's done it to me a couple of times now? Ive always found the escort back end easy to control but this things mental!! 1
