Escort Mk1 4 Door Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 i have my mk5 1992 escort on classic insurance and take it to shows where i get people telling me there classics now stupid really
stuartp Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 I don't think anyone can argue that plenty of old fords that aren't acceptable on this group can still be classic fords but I don't think anyone can argue that a focus, ka, mondeo etc is a classic 1
shaun1.6ghia Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 When I woke up this year at retro show there was a guy showing where to park (for everyone that came in the gate) now if he thought something was retro he let them through to another side to all park together (next to the fun fair). That saved them sitting in the car park next to modern stuff an actually made a really big stand on its own ( there must have been 60+ cars there) now for a show so small I couldn't believe how much retro an classic would have been stuck in the car park. An a majority of these cars were as good if not better than what was on show.

I saw this and seemed to work really well, and as i said should be same at classic ford, but retro is a tiny show compared to Classic ford so easier to manage
