Admin Vista Posted July 25, 2013 Admin Report Posted July 25, 2013 Looks very nice. How do you cope with the heat driving these old cars out there? Getting into mine is like sitting in a sauna right now! 1
Pedro Posted July 25, 2013 Author Report Posted July 25, 2013 Looks very nice. How do you cope with the heat driving these old cars out there? Getting into mine is like sitting in a sauna right now! Open windows.. the worst part is getting in after being at the sun for a wile, the seats burn!!! But I love it... this trip was to celebrate my 2nd marriage aniversary!

Pedro Posted July 26, 2013 Author Report Posted July 26, 2013 Very nice and looks a lovely part of the country as well. Thanks! The region in the pics is the Douro, Portugal, distinguished as mankind patrimony, with the vinniards where the Port wine is made! Lovely looking motor mate and a job well done on the restoration as well fella Thanks!! I wanted to keep the car original, because it´s so beautifull... The crossflow engine is fantastic.. Someday, you'l see this Capri in Uk, i wanted to do a trip Portugal-Uk-Portugal! Do you receive us??
grifterkid Posted July 28, 2013 Report Posted July 28, 2013 Holy crap, that is gorgeous...!!!!!!!!! 1
Pedro Posted July 29, 2013 Author Report Posted July 29, 2013 Holy crap, that is gorgeous...!!!!!!!!! I will send some pics of the capri to classic ford mag, what do you think? In Portugal some part's were very very dificult to achieve, but after some years of search, this is the result. Don't have the vinyl roof, an XLR option, but i like to see my Capri Yellow, with the black rear. It´s very good to see your opinion, because it´s a british car, and you guys know them better than anyone!
grifterkid Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 Get those pictures off to the mag's as I'm sure they'd love to know more about that wonderful Capri and what was involved in getting it from as you found it to as it is today... Go for it! 1
