mk2 mike Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 I noticed in the sun last week my roof and bootlid have pretty bad swirl marks from previous cleaning. I know its hard to give a definitive answer without pics but Is it possible to get swirl marks out of paintwork? Will a professional mopping do it or is it too far gone by that point? dacar Posted July 29, 2013 Report Posted July 29, 2013 I had same problem but used maguires 3 stage system and watched a few valet videos on youtube. Use a damp micro fibre cloth in a straight action comes up really well. Hard work but it works.
mk2 mike Posted July 29, 2013 Author Report Posted July 29, 2013 I've got the maguires 3 stage stuff in the garage. I'll have a look on YouTube. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
sutton4ord Posted July 30, 2013 Report Posted July 30, 2013 IF not 3m if they still do it a black bottle called handglaze ,gets swirls out very good stuff esp on black ,can use soft head mop then few times by hand its like a wax but its a polish, and should end up like glass. 1
mk2 mike Posted July 30, 2013 Author Report Posted July 30, 2013 Thanks! Whatever I use it'll have to be by hand as I have no power in my lock up. Good to know I may be able to get them out though, they look awful in the sun! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
