I do like a pickup (I have 4 of them  ), but this just looks wrong to me! Would have been a much nicer van.

But considering it was done years ago I guess it would be classed as "period" now ?!?

The Alperton dealer they mention would have been Godfrey Davis back then.

Each to their own I suppose. Not my cup of tea though. Funnily enough I saw a mustang GT 350........pick-up at Goodwood Revival yesterday. Very odd

Do you know what's even funnier lol.

The Mustang belongs to a friend of mine, its in the care of Bill Shepherd at the moment as he is trying to sell it for my mate (hence why it was at Goodwood :)).

Its an original "66 Beverley Hills Mustero" (Mustang/Ranchero) built under licence from Ford

This is one of only a few that ever got built apparently! Mick totally restored it with a Trans Am Racing stroker 331 which produced 463hp on the dyno at Shelby works

Its up for £60k if your interested? He is open to offers lol

I've seen a few escort pick ups now, usually from vans rather than estates though I think I've seen one of the latter too. They look ok and there was a time back in the 70s and early 80s when Pick ups were the in thing but I prefer the vans myself.

Here's are a few more for instance

Roof lines look much better on the estate
