Having run the car through the summer I am less keen to run it through the winter and the salty roads. I am therefore going to store the car until next spring.

The place I am going to put the car is a specific car storage facility, the building is insulated and completely sealed from the outside, providing a dry airy space for car storage.

My question, other than driving the car there and locking it up should I be doing anything else? I was thinking of a couple of things like disconnecting the battery and not putting the handbrake on, but anything else?

Put it up on blocks or axle stands so as not to flat spot the tyres. Make sure the antifreeze is at the right concentration and drain the fuel all the way through the system

Says the guy who does none of those things himself
