rsdan4321 Posted November 24, 2013 Author Report Posted November 24, 2013 thanks for making me welcome, just to let you know the reason I like my old fords so much is as my dad has always owned them as ive grown up and taken me to shows with him he currently owns mk2 rs2000 and mk2 escort 1.3 more door.

A well trodden path to classic ford ownership. I spent the 70s and up to mid 80s in the back of a succession of five cortinas. 3 mk3s, a mk4 then a mk5. 1

They are really good little cars and great to drive. ENJOY!! Have you joined the Mk1 fiesta forum? This is another good site for help and finding parts. Good luck with the resto.

By the sounds of it you've been brought up the proper Oldskool way thanks, this is how the fiesta currently looks minus the to wings but has been put into storage for winter now so progress has slowed down. and yes my dad hasn't done to bad a job
