MRFLEW Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 HI THERE ALL Just got a mk2 escort ghia 2 door and have removed the x-flow engine this weekend and taken the engine & gearbox out of a mk3 Granada & loom etc etc and have just mocked up the before doing the real job which will be in a few weeks time as of work but I'm having a little trouble with the fact that the brakes in the escort has a big black servo fitted and is in excellent working order so i need to know how & where to fit the vacuum hose pipe from the top of the brake servo to the pinto engine so this can continue to work for me. Any help would be great on this
Admin Vista Posted January 5, 2014 Admin Report Posted January 5, 2014 Welcome to OSF Servo vacuum is provided by a connection on the inlet manifold. The donor Granada would also have had servo assisted brakes so I expect there's a connection for it o. The EFI manifold. 1
