When we picked my mk1 escort up in about 1997 my dad drove it home and we followed him in my brother in laws sierra, the escort when I bought it was jacked up on the rear with ballon tyres, faux fir seat covers and very noise exhaust. My dad had the window wound down with his arm out the window and hair blowing in the wind, this song came on the radio in the sierra and we just laughed because it seemed to sum up my dad in the escort in front. So everytime I hear this now it brings back a great memory. Sorry for the long story.
