Admin Vista Posted June 16, 2014 Admin Report Posted June 16, 2014 No offence taken Graham, on the contrary we are grateful to you for allocating a space that members could use should they have wished to go. The problem is more that we don't have enough staff to promote and run stands in varying locations around the country each weekend in what is a busy classic car time of year for everyone. We are however always receptive to requests from members to run stands at local shows and will support them in any way we can but for this event, no-one stepped forward. Further, suggestions that we failed to turn up to a stand we had organised are unwarranted and need to be corrected as failing to turn up would indeed be very poor etiquette on our part.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 16, 2014 Admin Report Posted June 16, 2014 It is certainly a good show and perhaps we can make more of an effort to promote this earlier on next year as I've been a few times and really enjoyed it ... perhaps you could contact us a few months before Graham with a reminder and we'll push the show and try to get one of our more local members to run the stand .... we do appreciate your offer of the stand, thank you
