JP. Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Got the brand new tranny out of my V8 Supercharged mk1 Capri as there's something wrong with the synchro of fourth gear. ( has to go back to the supplier ) Got my rear new airshocks fitted with the Viair 440 compressor on my other mk1 Capri. Lots of plumbing but it works. Now got psssth on front ( turbo BOV ) and psssht on rear by releasing air from shocks..... Have a brown face also now as I found some spots on the bottom that needed attention too so the MIG welder came out. Had the angle grinder cutting some thumb but after the wife made some repairs to the thumb I could work further on....
BigBubba Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Modifying the crappy fabricated square turrets I bought to fit the shell!!! Radius for the inner wheel tub was miles away from being right.
nosher 64 Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 Fitted a new steering wheel, and silicone hoses..
Danish Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 I changed the oil in my type-9, refitted it back to the engine (though I might have damaged the spigot bearing so it's coming back off next weekend), and welded some more of the shell. 1
