Tickets just purchased for this. Last year was a very sunny day and I hope for a bit more of the same this year.

I went last year and enjoyed it but probably won't be this year, it's a fair old trek from down here.

Is it one u can take ur old ford and park in the grounds and not in a car park?

Yes it is, you can pay on the gate too.

What I learned from last year;

 

- we arrived around 10:30 and it was already packed and a long jam to get in =====> get there earlier

- the catering facilities are pretty poor =====> take a picnic

- drinks are expensive and you had to queue for ages =====> take some bottles of water

- if it really sunny again there isn't much shade =====> take sunscreen!

- walking round a few times is tiring and there aren't many seats around (although sit on the grass) =====> take some fold up chairs

- some great people around with good stuff and leaflets with contact details which need writing down =====> take pen and paper

- people are genuinely interested in the history of your car =====> prepare a one page summary of your car and put it in the window
