Lauramk1 Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 Our 1971 Mk1 Escort was imported back from Malta 6/7 years ago as she has come along way since we got it, 2 engine changes, 2 alloy changes, lost count of back tyre changes We was in the Feb 2014 issue of Classic Ford mag but with the old engine as feature was done ages ago so we are back this year with a another engine Peter just wasn't happy enough with old one, but new engine did us well running a 12.97 1/4 mile at a local drag strip show last Sunday beating even a 475bhp Focus St Not bad for just an auld 2 litre Pinto! Retro beats plastic everytime! Paint works getting a bit tired now so maybe a s prose up end of the year! Enjoy the pics 1
