Down these parts I found a chap called hydrodip-exe.co.uk. From what I can gather rather than wrapping, a solution is sprayed on in any colour (pearlescent types included) but when dry it can be peeled off, kinda like when you peel pva glue off of something. Doesn't damage the paint underneath at all.

He quoted me £100 to do just the Capri bonnet but a whole car would probably be the same sort of price as a wrap.

I asked them for a quote Jo and they said they not able to do full cars as 'Too busy' :-(

Blimey .. they are good so that could be why ... I work with the bloke's wife so I'll mention it tomorrow .... what did you want wrapping?

Wrap is only the outside, just tucked in at behind the doors and things,

Any rust on the car will just rust and bubble under the wrapping,if you get a dent you can't fill and paint,,

And if your changing the colour ,,the door checks and under bonnet etc will still be the old colour

I Thought about having the black on my rear panel wrapped after car is painted as im unsure yet if going to keep it on not.

My friend has a E46 M3 and someone keyed both sides and bonnet and was looking at £3500-5000 for a full respray he had the whole car wrapped for £900 Cash in the end. admittedly when he sales it i dont know if he will mention it so next owner could be in for a surprise if the what to remove the wrap and have original Blue

Exactly what I had done at Classic Ford show year before last. There's a stall there that does graphics. Cost me £40. post-6097-139979937502_thumb.jpg
