juddy Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Hi, I was offered/saved this '68 MK2 Deluxe estate last year. It had been in a barn for over 20 years and would have been scrapped with house clearance/sale. Luckily my Missus knows the daughter of the deceased owner......so much moving of junk, renting of beavertail truck and paying of money! It's a pre crossflow 1300, everything present as far as I know. Engine was seized, now freed off, but head is cracked between 2 & 3, and the rocker shaft is worn. That's the start ^^^^^^^^ of the parts list............. Short term plan is to try and get it running and MOT'd, and keep it original as possible. Long term, full resto I guess, though I might need to sell a kidney, or both! Tony. 1
