I get that in both of my cars too. At first it was a little disconcerting but now I quite enjoy it.

It never fails to amaze me how knowledgeable people are, they generally know more about my cars than I do. Makes me smile when I see people stuck in their euro boxes looking at me and smiling, makes me wonder why more people don't "break out" and drive something more interesting.

Having had my cars for decades I noticed a clear evolution in what people said. There was a long period of "when are you going to get rid of that old sh*tbox and buy something new and decent". Then it slowly morphed into, "oh you dont see many of those on the road these days". Then it progressed to "Wow is great to see one on the road, new cars have no character at all". Trends do go round in cycles but no matter how long I wait my dress sense never does unfortunately.

I had the opposite in the beginning of the year when i took my car up to Chris Todd for a remap.coming back on the m4 to Wales  i had a coach driver swerving towards me ect and throwing nothing but abuse at me.I done fook all to upset him and even asked the mrs if i done anything by the means of driving.the guy was a prrick.the bus was full of children too.was going to take the no of the back and report him.
