Do you recognise this Anglia?

We've received an enquiry from a guy in South Africa who would like to ask the Owner of this car some technical questions, he thinks the owner is a member on here but I haven't a clue. Sorry it's the only pic I have

The car has been around for years I remember it when i was a kid with red revelation wheels and my mates dad painted it back in the 80s I remember it being in mitcham then went missing for years then I was driving round the back streets of Chessington and saw it on a drive looking soory for its self then mark bought it had it for a while then sold it to ian.

He didn't say what he wanted to know, just asked if we could give him the Owner's email address so he could contact him. I'm not going to do that though, I'll just pass the SA guy's email address on and it's up to the Owner if he wants to get in touch

Hi , as Chris says it was mine for about 5 years now belongs to a friend called iain although I haven't seen him or the car for a couple of years now, although the type of bloke that iain is the car will be mint . I'd be happy to answer any questions .

Hi ken , from what I can remember . The colour I think was Sebring Red the rear and front end suspension axel ect is standard mk1 escort with 5.5"superlites on the front and 7"on the rear with a small amount machined out of the mounting surface to clear the rear arch. The rear arches have also had the lips removed .its is also running a 2.1pinto on 48webbers and straight cut box! Hope this helps, Marc .
