mk2 mike Posted November 15, 2014 Report Posted November 15, 2014 A Private reg still links to the original (and vise versa) on the DVLA database by the way. Still, nice car in the pic. 1
Admin Vista Posted November 15, 2014 Admin Report Posted November 15, 2014 A Private reg still links to the original (and vise versa) on the DVLA database by the way. Still, nice car in the pic. My experience is that when you have a car on a private plate, the original number doesn't show up at all in a public DVLA search of their database. Certainly the original number for my daily drive isn't found if you plug it into the DVLA's website. The number for my previous car doesn't show up either so I assume it is also on a private plate
luckyjim Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 its my belief that the police have access to more info on the database than the rest of us...

irishtorag Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 bejesus Dave 123 you seem to have a bee in your bonnet wth some very innocent comments made on the site !!! Been on here a while now and I don't think any harm is meant with a simple comment 1
SmokeEm Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Well I did it for no other reason than to see if you still had it in use currently or wether it was SORN'd. What's your problem? 1
mk2 mike Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 I do it with lots of members 'new' cars to see if they've been stored away for a long time. It looks like this one had which is why I said it looks very clean. What's wrong with that? Post more pictures of it. I'd love to see the condition of the interior and under the bonnet!
bigbadsquare Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Very nice car mate , don't think the guys mean Anything by it , we are all just nosey and old habits die hard. My favourite colour by the way Phoenix orange if I'm not mistaken ( which I often am) 2
