Hi,

 

1979 Escort is our yesteryear car......was going great until piston in number 2 cylinder said i have had enough and shed a ring after only 145 thousand miles....been laid up for a year now but its in the garage waiting for me to remove the engine.

 

Had the Escort for years was my dads car before

 

Not really sure whether  to get a recon unit or rebuild this one.....
