You have just missed the conversion clutch I sold on eBay for £75 complete with light steel flywheel. Will cost you more for the plate. If you have a flat faced flywheel use standard xe clutch cover a good make though, see if you get hold of a Sierra 2-3 diesel plate will need a couple of mm turning off it to fit in the cover. Clutch is an 1inch 23 spline. You could also try plate from RS2000 mk2 but think diameter is a bit smaller. The Sierra plate has large cushion springs fitted so are a little better. You will also need a spigot bearing for the end of the crank purchase one of these from QED Motorsport hope this helps

Most combinations of parts are available. You need to match up clutch diameter (normally 190 or 205mm) and gearbox shaft splines, (1" 23 spline as already said) also not all starter rings are the same and not all cover plates fit all flywheels, so the way to go may be use a red top flywheel and cover, measure the size of the plate needed, then buy a 1" 23 spline clutch plate to fit.

I have just done a zetec rwd conversion but haven't done anything with red tops so someone hopefully can tell you what flywheel and cover to use?

People do supply a plate for this conversion think the last time I checked they were £150 that's why I used the Sierra plate turned down its a lot cheaper. I put 240 bhp through it so I know it works. Just gone on to ultra light flywheel and twin plate clutch which if you want to go that far will cost you a grand! Out of interest what are you using for ignition system? Might have some parts to help you out if needed depending how far you are going tuning engine wise

I have not got a clue and never done any thing like this but I have put many hrs and money to this project. Its the one thing I have allways wanted. any help with parts at a good price would help. what would you you think would work for my car (Ignition) many thanks.
