groundedescort Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 HI all i have been a member on here for about 10 or 11 years i think and i havent been on in a while and have been more out of the ford scene lately but glad to see this place still going strong and after being on faceache for so long i have sort of forgotten how to use a normal forum like this how to load pics etc which is quite funny as i used to have my own classic ford forums years ago. Glad to see everyone here still some nice motors about i have 2 old fords myself now i used to be a paid member but cant remember how to if someone can point me in the right direction ! i have been breaking vauxhall novas for a while now dont get me wrong i dont like them which is why i am happy to break them up and scrap them but its funny how people seem to have to be one of the other ford or vauxhall i have always been ford since i was 13 and tried getting into novas as i race them but just cant get into them in the same way i did fords so i stick to ripping them apart and making money out of breaking them and getting the horrible things off the road As for me in the last couple of weeks i have purchased a 1977 mk1 fiesta which i imported from france and am at the point of notifying HMRC of the cars arrival (nova form) (Notification of vehicle arrival) and hoping it doesnt have any outstanding VAT from when it was new which i dont know a lot about but its a left hooker very solid and still taxed and motd under french laws, its bog standard and this week bought a mk2 as a daily runaround as modern cars just dont do it for me Always looking for old ford projects as i love getting them back on the road i have a thread on here somewhere that i started with my old le mans green mk1 escort i must get around to seeing if its still here and updating it see you all soon
