Joshmk1fezza Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Hi im new to the site juat wondering if escort bubble arches would fit on a mk1 fiesta and what would they look like. All comments welcome, if there positive!!
colr6 Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Imo it would look better using mk2 escort forest arches easier to fit and would be more in keeping with the squareness of the fiesta. By the way welcome to the site
Joshmk1fezza Posted January 6, 2016 Author Report Posted January 6, 2016 Ive got the bottom ones on the blue car (not installed yet) but i like the look of the mk2 with the bubble arches? The orange car is a golf and the blue and white one. The mk2 with forest arches do look good, i just want something no ones got and i havent seen anyone with a mk1 fiesta bubble arch?
colr6 Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Think pic 4 looks nice, pic 3 mk2 essy they look like mk1 front bubbles all round .....looks wrong. Mk2 essy pic 2 just right. Golf very nice that type of arch seems to suit the to me. But that's my opinion, everybody's different
khanlad Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Welcome to osf, first mk1 escort picture looks mint, bubble arch not so sure? Not sure about on a fezza? Think same as mk2 escort, probably to boxy? My opinion, you'd have to put some against one to see, everyone is different. Col likes anglias. ........ enough said, he is northern though,
Joshmk1fezza Posted January 6, 2016 Author Report Posted January 6, 2016 Yeah think the mk2 bubbles are fronts all round, think i will get all the fab work done for rwd and when thats done ill play with some arches see what looks nice, may even get my fabfricator make them from scratch. Thanks for you oppinion.
colr6 Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Take a look at the thread Just plain wrong there's a fezzy on there which you might like
khanlad Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Don't think the colour of the fezzer does it any favours? Be better in a solid colour?
luckyjim Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 welcome josh.personally I love the arches you have ready to go on the car, unless you are desperate to be different then I would stick with those and save yourself a lot of time and possibly expense trying to adapt different arches to fit.
mk2 mike Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Mk1 arches on a mk2? Yuk. How about X pack?
