Re-spline half shaft

Hi, I'm looking to get two half shafts shortened and Re-splined (I've already got the axle case done) Can anyone recommend any local engineering companies, im located on Hampshire/Surrey border Near farnham.

Not saying it can't be done but you may have more joy cutting the shafts in half, reducing them then tubing, pinning and welding to correct length? I think the splines are case hardened so if re-splined they'd have to be heat treated as well?

Splines are hardened. Probably better of with Quaife gp1 halfshafts as they come with a longer spline.

try andy robinson, of robinson race cars, he did some for me years ago, lovely job and re hardened afterwards. he was in the Basingstoke area, and I think still is.
