mk1 escort inner wing repair

Hi anyone got a clear pic of the inner wing of a mk1 escort just behind the bonnet hinge I need to repair mine to standard spec thanks

check my project mate had to rebuild everything from the bulkhead forward

hijack thread..........do you know if its possible to get new bonnet hinges...has i need to take mine off to repair under neath...has i cant see where they are welded and i need to take out

cant you just drill out the welds and remove from the bulkhead. i think twink has done it

Get a wire wheel on drill or grinder mate, some of th old spot welds are extremly feint and hard to notice, shine the metal up and shine a torch straight on it and look closeely and they should make themselves known! Know what you mean about hard to spot though

id do it by hand myself with some rough paper they should show up pretty well (it will be a high spot directly next to a low spot.
