Recommended south west engine builder

After finding a cracked piston in my x-flow. Im looking for a trusted firm to do a bottom end rebuild, ideally someone local to the devon area who knows these engines.

Paul Inch did some work on my crossflow even though I built it myself. He's in cattdown Plymouth.

 

Bored my block out, converted head to unleaded and supplied new pistons and shells.

Bowden Engineering in Bristol are excellent for machining, etc.

Paul Inch has done the machining side of all my engine builds, they have all performed well with no problems, there are a few final re-build firms around Plymouth, KSP, Keiren in Cargreen near Saltash (usually busy with rally car engines) Andy Moss AM restorations in Plymouth, he has done a lot of good work on my engines, tuning and rolling road Raw-speed in Plymouth, so a few good choices,

Pete Willis Engineering in Tavistock is worth a shout too. Many of the Engine builders in this area send their blocks / heads etc to Pete for machining anyway.
