Englishbulls Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 I need a farm yard or warehouse I can use for a photo shoot with my classic fords. They are going to be photographed for a feature in Classic Ford magazine and I can't think of a decent back drop. If anyone can help out ideally in the Ongar or Brentwood area it would really help and I might need someone to drive one of my cars on the day if anyone fancies it?? Cheers Lee
colr6 Posted October 13, 2016 Report Posted October 13, 2016 Everybody does scenic backgrounds, open fields or an empty building. How about some shots in a scrapyard under the heading 'survivors ' let's be honest where did most of these end up ! Your cars could be testimony to avoiding the inevitable. Just a thought.
nosher 64 Posted October 13, 2016 Report Posted October 13, 2016 How about the Museum of Power at Maldon... Some nice buildings there as a back drop..
crapichris Posted October 14, 2016 Report Posted October 14, 2016 What about Southend seafront. Can't get more 70's Ford than Sarfend. 1
Englishbulls Posted October 14, 2016 Author Report Posted October 14, 2016 Some good ideas, I'll check them out this weekend. Cheers Lee
mk2 mike Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 How about at the Essex osf monthly meet? What better to have as a background as other osfs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
crapichris Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 One other thought. Battleships Antique centre which was the old water mill.
crapichris Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 Sorry meant Battlesbridge . Damm spell check!!
Tackleberry Posted October 16, 2016 Report Posted October 16, 2016 Wait till the early hours, stop on top of the Dartford crossing and do some shots with the city in the back ground....
Englishbulls Posted October 17, 2016 Author Report Posted October 17, 2016 I'm using an old world war 2 prisoner of war camp as the backdrop for the photo shoot. The camp has a planning application for houses underway and I'm gutted it will be demolished as it's perfectly preserved and I feel it should be protected. I am really pleased to get a chance to use it as the back drop though and I hope it all works out ok!! I will keep you all posted. Cheers Lee
Englishbulls Posted October 17, 2016 Author Report Posted October 17, 2016 Wait till the early hours, stop on top of the Dartford crossing and do some shots with the city in the back ground.... Nice idea, do you think we could get about 50 cars to block the motorway for a couple of hours, if so let's go for it....
Tackleberry Posted October 18, 2016 Report Posted October 18, 2016 I'm sure if you reported a crisp packet blowing across the road, Highways England will do their usual of stopping all the traffic to find it...
