New member from cyprus

Hi all

 

I have just purchased a mk1 escort in cyprus, although from 10m it looks ok don't get any closer.

 

I am going to strip the car to the body/chassis and rebuild over here, going to be testing getting parts imported but all the fun of it.

 

I am not new to cars and restoring and have had a list of previous toys although never a mk1.

 

I also race at Le Mans classic in plateau 2 so hopefully meet up with some of you guys in 2018.

 

I am originally from camberley Surrey.

We will be running triumph tr2 factory car Pkv 693 plateau 2.

 

It was the intended car last year although blew in lap 1 and had to run in the kieft.

If you walk to the end of my parents drive you could see where the old triumph factory was, its sainsburys and a hotel now. Useless information for you! Try and find you next year good luck with the tr
