colr6 Posted July 30, 2017 Report Posted July 30, 2017 You would be very lucky to find a rocket box these days especially with the tag still on it. Is the box out ?
Harry007bangers Posted August 2, 2017 Author Report Posted August 2, 2017 yes i have the box out , i been told its from an austrialian rs2000 as were the gear stink is its got detachable bell housing has 23 teeth on input shaft and my prop fitts the tailshaft , the casing nubers i have aswell i fitted new seals to it as the ones i got fitted the old ones were metal , the tail shaft casing number 72AA-7A039_AA , main casing number 71 WG 7006 AC if this can be of any help , many thanks
colr6 Posted August 2, 2017 Report Posted August 2, 2017 If you select 1st gear and count the revolutions of input shaft to 1 revolution of output shaft you can determine which box you have. Do it a couple of times to ensure accuracy. Put it this way if you get 3 turns plus of input shaft to 1 turn of output is a std box.
