Hi, just thought I would say hi. I've just bought this Mk2 Escort 1600 Sport Project. Comes with the original crossflow engine and English axle. As well as a pinto engine and atlas axle. Lots of parts some salvageable some not so much. 

I've been a classic mini guy since a teen but getting fed up with that scene and what it's become so decided it was time for a change. Will not doubt be asking questions about suspension and body mods soon.

My first job is most likely to get the shell acid dipped and start from their. Looking to convert to 4 link and turret the rear. It's already been tubbed and also looking into strenthing and coilover conversions. Will start a build thread soon when I get the car home.
