Does the unit also have an internal battery source? I couldnt find any reference in the page you have linked. If it isnt self powered a simple battery disconnect and tow would pretty much leave you totally unawares. That was my initial impression anyways.

Good point.  Doesn't state anything about a back up or internal battery.
