Alan G Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Going doing a rear disc conversion on the Mk1, from what I've gathered sierra 2wd cossie calipers with mk3 fiesta discs are the way to go... But I was thinking about plumbing in a hydraulic handbrake (no MOT over here) as I was at it... What calipers etc. would be ideal for this setup or can the cossie ones only be used with cables?
Arched Escy Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Haven't a clue bout Cossie calipers but I'm using Mondeo calipers on the Escort with hydraulic handbrake!
ratman Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 I Use a mk3/4 XR escort front disks & callapers on my cortina before I changed to cossy rear you will have to get half safts machined tho get you brackets from this guy http://www.yukspeed.com/index.html or you can use mk1/2 fiesta fronts
