I was 14 at the time.

I remember doing my morning paper round in it. Was a little scary!

I remember it well …. I had to drive to work (aged 20) and the roads were horrendous with trees, branches and fences blocking many of the side roads … worst bit for me was that there was a power cut at home and I had to go to work without drying my hair !!!!!

I was at HMS Sultan in Gosport at the time and remember lying there wide awake wondering what was more annoying, the wind outside and trees / branches banging on the window........or my mate in the bed opposite grinding his teeth! 

In the end the teeth won and I threw something at him to wake him up!

Remember it well, was in my final year at school. Me and a few mates went out and about inspecting the damage. Happy dayz....
