guido Posted August 13, 2025 Report Posted August 13, 2025 Ok, but as i remember, there has been closed oval tracks in the recent years in the UK. Some dragstrips as well. There were many of them back then.

guido Posted August 13, 2025 Report Posted August 13, 2025 (edited) Only serious oval racetrack we still have is Venray or one of the oldest in Posterholt, At Venray Limburg, The Netherlands, wich will host the F1 Stockar event coming this weekend. I am there at finals on Sunday. British drivers are there, and maybe some from other Countries. Packked with ca. 35 F1 stockars. It is short oval. But i remember the days of Baarlo long track, with banking curves. That came of an idea from visiting USA by Jack Cleas back in time. He would have somthing like that. and it did! In prime time we had up to 15.000 spectators. Edited August 13, 2025 by guido
