1600 xflow package wanted.

As above Iam looking to upgrade my 1300pre xflow to a 1600 xflow. Complete running engine preferred, don’t mind if it’s missing carbs manifolds etc.must be around the yorkshire/ Lancashire area or if your willing to pallet up and post that’s fine.its going into a mk2 cortina.

Friend of mine has a 1700x flow, 40’s etc £1400 was going in an Anglia but car now sold

You will also need to look out for a front bowl sump, as most crossflows from Capri's & Escort's will be rear bowl and they will not fit into a MK2 Cortina engine bay, and front bowl 1600 sumps are like hen's teeth.

You might be able to modify your existing 1300 front bowl sump to clear the larger crank throw, so don't get rid of it.

I will have a 1600 crossflow comes with the Front bowl sump, has recently had a clean and replacement valves and a dab of paint. Bare engine, but i may have a new water pump/fuel pump as well? I don't mind putting on a pallet if need be. (Essex)
