How easy did the rear shelf lift off? 

Was planning on renewing mine last year or at least having it covered in vinyl, but having re-fitted all my seats I didn't get round to it. 

GS Escorts have got some decent back shelves, so might ring them next week, as I need to take my front seats out to lower them a touch. Will probably have to fab some new rail mounts to the floor and get them powder coated.

Slid out once I’d removed the rear seat which is only two nuts to remove! 

I ordered a material type rear shelf not fibreglass one, good reviews but will wait and see what it’s like, and was half the price of the fibreglass ones
