xpackken Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 hey guys as you probably seen i just got my new capper. im told it has a lsd . i took the car for a spin today around the block to try and find out but its impossible to get the rear wheels to spin with 17 inch alloys and only a 1600 engine . i promise i lanched it from 5000 rmp still no spinning lol . (its getting a 2.1 asap ) anyway i got it in to a gravel car park with my mate and it did do proper dougnuts in a still spot. it wouldnt do this if it didnt have a slipper would it .plus my mate said both wheels were spinning . is there any other ways of telling . _________________ Locked Funds Insurance Forum
Doc Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Jack it up and put it in gear . Only one wheel should spin . Thats a slipper . On a live axle they both rotate .

alladdin Posted March 6, 2007 Report Posted March 6, 2007 sounds like a slipper. when its jacked up turn one wheel by hand. if its a slipper the other will also turn (tho it could be welded up). if you really want to be sure then drop the cover off.
