Hi everybody Bit of a long shot. a mate restored this car with his brother years ago as you see in the picture she was beautiful.. when finished. it’s started it’s life as a 1.3 GT but he fully converted it to a RS 2000 with pictures of the full restore. he's been trying for the last 10 years to find it DVLA have records of the car but won’t give him any details of the new owner.. he sold it to Mac west motors in Macclesfield over ten years ago And it was on there website for about a week and sold again. he's tried to contact the company that bought it from him but I don’t think they are not trading anymore The reason for this post is he'd love to know if it’s still on the road. Selling this car was the worst thing he ever did and regret it to this day. Has anyone seen it at any Ford meets .. car shows or dose any body know who has it. he have a disc with over 100 pictures of the the build and the original picture as an orange 1.3 GT. Please share

hoping someone on here would possibly have an idea where and what sort of condition (if its still about) its in plz plz help if possible

if ive posted this in the wrong section could admin move to where it would be best placed ty

Hi,

Well the DVLA have it down as last going for an official MOT on 17/05/06 and last V5C change as 30/01/13

Could well be stored up by someone, it is declared as SORN, so I would guess it is still around, but mothballed for some reason.

Good luck getting it to come to light, it is a really nice car.

yeh me and my mate checked with DVLA  also he spoke to someone at the office but wouldn't divulge  any info on the owner or the where about. Like you say it could or most likely be stored somewhere

it was a beautiful car he spent a long time to get it to the standard it was in...if i was to find it and pass the info on i think my mate would be in tears and so so happy...think he would get the  cash together to try and buy it back

Like it or not the DVLA cannot divulge the info you want due to Data Protection - this service was withdrawn about 3 years ago. And unless the owner is a member here its unlikely you'll find out where it is. Its obviously squirrelled away somewhere either under resto or as an 'investment' - either way, the purchase price maybe what you may call excessive as most cars seem to be these days!
