Garage Heaters

What are you using to heat your garages while working in there?

Not looking for commercial monsters or gas fired torpedoes, just general sane things that won't smash my electric bill to bits. 

Been looking on Screwfix and leaning towards wall mounted units around the £100 ballpark. 

Currently, I'm using a small portable electric fan heater, but it's pants. I have to go back in the house after about 30 mins as my hands are getting numb. Admittedly, it's minus degrees outside at the moment though. 

What you got?

re a heater I can’t think of any that aren’t hungry on electricity. My fan one is greedy but it is good, I got it from Aldi. But it does the job.

But 
I’d suggest insulation and a dehumidifier too. With the foil insulation I’ve found the garage once hot stays hot. And it heats up fast thus lower electric bill haha. and stays warm too.

I've got ceramic wall panels which run over night, don't cost a lot to run and keep it at a reasonable temperature for the morning, then a boost with a floor fan.

got a small log burner in our garage. only down side is when its going , can get TO WARM IN THERE to carry on working.
