Engine oil,

Opinions please! what would be the best engine oil to use in a 2.9i Granada 12 valve? make, grade and viscosity, I've had a few conflicting recommendations recently! 190 @ the wheels.

What did Ford recommend? Biggest Q is mineral, semi or fully synth - personally wouldn't use fully synth in anything pre late 90's / 2000's. And good old mineral in anything before the 80's with semi bridging the gap. Whatever brand is convenient and in correct grade / viscosity - there really is very little difference! Oh and whatever is used - change it regular (3 - 5,000 miles max)
