Over the past few days, have wrestled the new bonnet onto my Brenda. Its a new fibreglass type and fits very well. Spent today lining things up and a coat of base coat. Top coat next weekend.

Got a new 2300 watt generator at last I can have heating, tools, kettle all at the same time now. I can see a few late ones. Need to sort out some soundproofing as the residents will moan.

I tried an electric spray gun 25 quid to do the inside of the bonnet. It did ok and not a bad finish. Paint needs to be thin though.

My dad bought me a new drill for Christmas.the wife shouted because I spent 300 on a genny.

I'm the neshest person on the planet, l plug in my Big Red infra red heater when I'm in my unit, l started with a genny as my first unit had no power, what a pita, but the rising cost of electricity is bloody frightening, my unit did use £20.00 a week leccy, now quadrupled, bugger.

Your genny should be able to power a decent size compressor, get a cheap hvlp spray gun and have a play, that's how I learnt.
