Derek has very kindly donated a prize of a day at one of the Mathewsons auctions, on auction day, with the opportunity to auction off several of the lots. So come and show your car, meet Derek and watch the fantastic cricket match between The Lord's Taverners Vs Gloucestershire sporting legends. Confirmed so far are David Gower OBE, Mike Gatting OBE, Andrew Caddick (LT Capt), Martyn Ball (legends Capt), Monty Panesar, John Lewis, Mark Alleyne & Tim Munton There are only 26 VIP packages left for the afternoon session but there is still plenty of capacity for the Car show which includes access to watch the cricket. message me for more details and to book spot at this unique event
Paul Mount Posted June 14, 2023 Author Report Posted June 14, 2023 Please note that the daytime VIP tickets have sold out. There are still spaces to display your car, for £15 + £8 for additional passengers. Dinner tickets are still available but selling quickly. The largest group of cars attending is currently Aston Martin followed closely by MG. Not many Fords. Any reasons why? Any feedback is welcome
BaileyMex Posted June 15, 2023 Report Posted June 15, 2023 Bit far for me Paul, probably a 6 hour round trip, but hope you have a great day.
Paul Mount Posted June 20, 2023 Author Report Posted June 20, 2023 Shame you can't make it but thanks for commenting. Derek Mathewson told me yesterday that the winner of his prize will be interviewed and appear on an episode of Bangers & Cash. 1
