Electrical problem on my Mk1 1300 xl '72

Indicators work ok but stop when headlights are turned on, sidelights on they work ok. Checked connections and earth's and all seem fine. Don't know where to look further as no good with electrics.

The only place that I can see the two circuits intersect is at the indicator switch. Here you have the main beam control too.

Worth just checking that nothing is sticking, shorting or corroded in the switch and also the connection block perhaps.

Thanks, the connections on the switch appear to be in good condition. Will have a look at the connecting block later.
