  1. Nice wheels @Dave Knight, are they new? 🤣
  2. Update on this for all OSF members after speaking to another member who had experience. Only use if desperate. Be aware of "1960FordParts" on Fleebay. Parts prices are high, quality may not match and when things go wrong, the seller takes his ball home! Not a pleasant experience and that's putting it lightly.
  3. Hi gang, Has anyone had any dealings with a seller on ebay going by the name of "1960FordParts". He's based in the Midlands. I would be interested to hear about your experience. Cheers
  4. I've been with Abbeyfields for 6 years now. The service is excellent, policy coverage bang on, price brilliant and if you are unfortunate to have a prang they are there with you to help. If you nothing else, give them a call. Over the years I've been with Adrian Flux, Lancaster, Footman James and Carole Nash. They have been good but have lost their way over the years and if something is slightly out of the ordinary don't want to know. I made the change, and included my modern daily car too and its been easy. Thanks Abbeyfields 👍
  5. Yes they do and it's a great policy. Give Jayne or Stuart a call.
  6. And good with prayers 🤣
  7. Nice, what other colours do you do and how much? (as they say up north) 🤣
  8. Great book with some amazing pictures but it looks to be in Dutch, Leon. I'm a bit rusty would you translate each page for me 😊
  9. Not that old, but that makes sense. I only use Super Unleaded but there is still a bit.
  10. Hi all, I had a Pipercross airfilter in my Escort airbox. During my winter servicing I found the foam part had melted. I've checked the usual stuff like backfire and over fueling but nothing. Has anyone else experienced this? Cheers
  11. A postman had been delivering letters all day in pouring rain. By late afternoon he was soaked, muddy, and exhausted. He had just one final letter left, but unfortunately it was two miles down a narrow country lane. By the time he reached the house he looked like he’d been mud wrestling. He shut the garden gate, turned around… …and suddenly a massive Rottweiler jumped up, putting two huge paws on his chest. The postman froze. Just then a little old lady leaned out of the upstairs window and shouted, “Don’t worry, son! Just kick his balls!” The postman yelled back, “WHAT?!” She shouted again, “Kick his balls and he'll leave you alone! - he loves it” Now the postman was wearing heavy size-12 steel-toe boots, the proper military kind. So he took a step back and WHACK! — booted the dog square between the legs. The dog let out a terrible howl took a step back and growled angrily at the postie. The old lady screamed, “You’re in BIG trouble now!” The postman gasped, “Why?! You told me to kick his balls!” The old lady sighed and said, “I meant the squeaky ones on the lawn beside you!” 😆
  12. I have a Mk1 Escort Estate too. Vista Estate will be back on the road for this season 🤞
  13. I have an older pair of stands with a circular top that is around 75mm across. I use these on the cross member with a wood pad. You could get a trolley jack pad to fit no doubt. The adjustment is via a 10mm pin through holes at 25mm increments. Look out for these, James.
  14. We could do with some of these as our border control 🤣
  15. Pity rear spring hanger bushes are perished. I would expect perfection for this money 💰 😊
  16. With a V8 it could look a bit like yours 🤣
  17. It's Bananamans new car. You know Batman has the batmobile so why can't Bananaman do the same 🤣🤣 Nana nana nana nana .........
  18. Program comes with trigger warning now for the snowflake and cotton wool brigade that ate everywhere today. 🤣
  19. Halfords is a good shout. You can get it on 3m lengths on fleebay too. Just check diameter. See this one 127521556376.
  20. Wilma Deering - what a pin up!
  21. Hi All, I've managed to get a discount on the FordFest for 2026 for OSF members if you mention my name and OSF when speaking to Oliver Breeden at Scenic Car Tours. It's a great event which I covered for Retroford Magazine this year. In 2026 they have got a closed road section on the Sloc mountain road. It's a great road to test out your skills 🤣. See link https://www.iommotoringevents.com/fordfest All the best for Christmas and New Year. Mark

  22. New to me Dave, what are you looking for?
  23. Attending the NEC Classic Motor Show is hard work but very rewarding. 2025 was the 21st birthday of OSF and the 16th year at the NEC. @Ray, @stephens_xpack and myself worked hard to really do OSF proud. We always try to put on a great show for visitors and this year we smashed it again. We had a line up of all new cars and new members. For everyone it was a proud moment in time and marked years of hard work on our cars. For one new member Paul Nicholes it marked the culmination of years of work recreating the car his dad had. The mk3 Cortina 2.0 GLX is a stunner. We all know too well that life is short and we drive our Classic cars to remember the good old days and happier times. Paul was like a proud father at the show. Sadly, I've just heard that he has passed away suddenly 😔. Please join me in sending heartfelt condolences to his family from all at OSF, with the hope that Paul is now burning rubber on the great Ford racetrack on the sky. RIP Paul - YTK 👊 20251106_155710.mp4
