Run out in my mk2 Escort van

I had I quick run out in my van today , to see if I had fixed the issue with it jumping out of 4th gear.

It has😀

I took the gearbox out and checked it over visually for wear, looked OK apart from the selector rod spring was very weak, it is probally high mileage 😬

I couldn't  find a new one on line, so I've stretched  it out a bit, and that's worked.
