scootlife Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 (edited) Back again with another MK1. Sold my Le Mans green Mexico rep back at the end of 2017, have missed it ever since, had a MK2 1600 Sport with a spanker of an engine in it but now back and the proud owner of a genuine AVO 1973 RS2000. Would love to know if anyone has any previous history or information about it. Edited September 12 by scootlife 1 3 2
Nige65 Posted September 12 Report Posted September 12 Nice motor, the ‘PB’ on the number plate would suggest that it was registered in Portsmouth. 1

Roman Hordan Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Welcome back, and congrats on the RS2000. Always nice to see an AVO one, and they're getting harder to find in decent shape. Nige's point about the PB plate is a good starting place, since that gives you a registration area to work from. For history, I'd get your V5C details checked and have a look at the Mk1 RS Owners Club. They keep records on a lot of the AVO cars, and a chassis number check with them can sometimes turn up the original build info or previous owners. Any old MOTs, receipts or paperwork in the car are worth keeping hold of too, as they can help trace its past. Would be good to see a few more shots of the engine bay and interior when you get a chance.
