I have to go and have root canal cleaning on May 1st, and I ain't looking forward to it. They offered to do my mouth 1/2 at a time in two visits. Sod that, they will do the whole lot at once and get it over and done with!! Will not be much use on the 'phone though, would sound 90% pissed!!

I had my root canal done in 2 trips. I thought it was because of the amount of work that has to be done. Need the swelling to go down in the gum before they finish the filling. I got a drill bit stuck in the bottom of mine.

Brilliant it was, didn't hurt a bit. My dentist is a stunner too. That helps

I have only one phobia, and that's the bloody dentist. I hate hate hate them, not as people, obviously, but when they start that deburring tool on your teeth and stick pointy things into your gums saying "your gums bleed easily". No shit Sherlock, you just stuck a javelin into them! And after injecting all sorts of muck into you they say "would you just rinse your mouth out" knowing you are going to dribble all over the floor and your shirt.. Grrrr
