Admin Mk2Jo Posted March 22, 2007 Admin Report Posted March 22, 2007 Yes, they are road legal Steve Yokohama A048R Semi Slick - The Advan A048R provides a new level of racetrack performance - combining the latest advances in road legal racing tyre design, construction and compounding. It's cutting edge design gives you more precise control in high speed lateral transitions, a beeter footprint under braking and a predictable level of grip at high slip angles.

Wessie Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 the A539 will be a much better all round tyre, save the A048 for trackdays, OSFDC etc
caprifan Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 ...get some Toyo Proxies mate....got them on my 2.8 Capri...superb in the dry and excellent in the wet too......same price if not a bit cheaper than A539's.......oh and they look damn good too
Fiesta Steve Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I have 175 60's A539 on my 1300 Sport. Absolutly excellent all weather tyre. The grip in the wet is amazing. Dry grip is also very good. I also happen to have A048R on my XR2, 175 50's front and 175 60's rear. Excellent grip in the dry, I think it was those tyres that finished off my last gearbox, so much more grip I've tried all sorts of tyres and am sticking with yokos from now on
