just clicked on the classic cars link .

 

the featured cars at the top of the list are all scams .

 

once you open them they take you away from ebay ( address bar changes)

 

also when have you ever been able to buy a e type jag for 4.5 k .

 

 

Beware what you click on over there . its not very safe these days .

 

if it asks you to sign in again , do not sign in . shut the window down and start a new window .

if in doubt do not email them - go through the proper ebay channels

how do they do it

they use some very clever Javascript...

they make you log in again - and steal your details while you type

 

similar to phishing emails you get from fake banks ect .

 

but you arent logging in to ebay you are logging into an identical page which is addressed differently .

 

thats why if you need to log in again - shut the window down and start again
